Meet the Team
– Managing Director
A graduate and qualified PE Teacher, Laura spent four years within the Education Sector teaching before entering into the Recruitment Industry.
Laura's first hand knowledge and understanding of the Education market has enabled her to develop the highly successful Recruitment Business, which focuses upon the requirements of Secondary, Primary and Nursery Education establishments.
As part of the managing team of A+ Teachers Laura has developed a strong and loyal client portfolio on the basis of her clearly defined operating procedures, honesty and commitment to quality of service.
Amanda started working at A+ Teachers in 2008 and brings with her a mixed bag of experiences and skills having worked in Clinical Teaching in the NHS, Senior NHS management and corporate global management. Amanda has a degree in Therapeutic Radiography as well as a Diploma in Management. She worked in Toronto for two years and loves their life/work balance.
Amanda is part of the managing team at A+ Teachers and continues to develop her client base that appreciate her honesty, integrity and efficiency.

Bradley has been part of the A+ Teachers team since the summer of 2007.
He qualified as a primary teacher back in 2000 and taught full time for the next 4 years. He then decided that he would like to experience life at other schools and worked as a supply teacher for the next 3 years enjoying and relishing in the challenges that this brought. He even won an award as 'Supply Teacher of the Year'!
Many of the clients that deal with him now as a Recruitment Consultant first knew him as a teacher and hence trust his judgement on finding them suitable candidates.

Paul joined the team at A+ Teachers as Sales Manager in 2016, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. An experienced recruiter, Paul has many years of Education Recruitment, Management, and Customer Service experience.
He enjoys working closely with staff and teachers in Schools, Multi Academy Trusts and School Federations across the Home Counties.
He lives with his wife, a Teacher and SENDCO, and his 2 children in Hertfordshire.

Sean joined A+ Teachers in January 2017. Originally from the sunny shores of Perth, Western Australia, Sean has travelled across the globe through the USA and Japan and ending up in London late in 2014.
After working for a term in a North London school as a Cover Supervisor, he entered into the Recruitment sector managing a very successful Inner London Primary desk.
Now managing Schools across Berkshire, Sean's specialities lay in the recruitment of Primary trained teachers from the UK and abroad, as well as SEN trained staff and Teaching Assistants.
